And about time too!
So, I write content for a living. In fact, I’ve worked in marketing for over 20 years, writing about all sorts of things for other people.
But when it comes to writing about my own stuff… well, that’s a different story! I wasn’t really sure where to start.
Then, at the Oddballs Scooter Rally, someone said something that got me thinking. They pointed out that there’s a real gap in the market for someone who actually gets out to scooter events, meets the people there and finds out their stories.
And I thought… you know what? They might have a point.
So, rather than overthinking it, I’m going to give it a go.
I’ll be heading out to scooter rallies, events and rideouts, chatting to the people who make the scene what it is – from organisers and DJs to traders, scooterists, bands and all the characters in between.
Real people. Real scooters. Real stories.
